A new payment model makes green digitization possible for more hauliers

Many hauliers are keen to contribute to the green transition, but limited liquidity and oversubscribed grant schemes make it difficult to get started. TRASOLU is now launching a flexible payment model that enables climate-friendly transport without significant investments.
The requirements for climate reporting documentation and road taxes are steadily increasing, and according to ITD (International Transport Denmark), over 60% of transport companies are still not fully digitalised. TRASOLU aims to address this with a solution that removes both investment barriers and the lack of climate reporting.
"We know that many postpone necessary decisions because it seems expensive and uncertain, or because their customers do not yet demand it. The PPU model removes that uncertainty because you control the pace yourself and only pay when your vehicles are on the move," says Keld Florczak, founder of TRASOLU.
Less uncertainty – more overview
New figures from the Danish Road Directorate show that applications for funding to purchase electric trucks amounted to four times the allocated funds. Many hauliers thus experience hitting a wall in their attempt to contribute to the green transition [Source 1], and furthermore, DTL chairman Erik Østergaard recently stated to Transportmagasinet: "It is a problem if the grant schemes that are offered only really benefit the large transport companies. The small players rarely have the resources required to apply for complicated grants, and often the funds are allocated to larger players who already have the capital to invest in green technology." At TRASOLU, we want to address the challenges that hauliers face today, where the path to climate-friendly transport often feels expensive and cumbersome. Therefore, we are launching a new payment model, Pay Per Use (PPU), where you only pay for what you use. This makes it significantly easier for both small and larger haulage companies to participate in the green transition without tying up capital in expensive systems. The Pay Per Use solution will be presented at the Transport Fair 2025 in Herning (stand E4270).
