Innovation Area • Hall K

The Innovation Area in Hall K focuses on the future of mobility. At the transport fair, we zoom in on different types of Last Mile technologies. In the area, a test track will be established, where it is possible to test a number of different solutions from, among others, Two Wheel Company, Maskinhandler Indkøbsringen, BBCARGO and Nomaco Denmark A/S.

In the Innovation Area, you can also meet ITSDanmark, which brings together Danish companies, authorities and research institutions, regions and municipalities working with intelligent transport systems and solutions. At ITSDanmark's stand, there will be a stage where they will talk about the development of intelligent transport systems in traffic.

DTU - Technical University of Denmark presents research projects with green and intelligent solutions for heavy transport. Among other things, they are working on how to optimise driving. Meet them at the stand and have a chat about the latest environmentally friendly and sustainable technologies.

What is the Last Mile? And why is it relevant for the transport industry?

The Last Mile is the final part of the transport journey. With an increased focus on the green transition and reducing CO2 emissions, The Last Mile is seen as an important key to creating sustainable transport in major cities. Here, the focus is very much on how companies can establish terminals outside cities and easily transport goods into the city with the help of sustainable solutions.
