On Friday 21 April, Transport 2023 hosted the 2023 Van of the Year award, presented by Danish Motor Journalists. For the first time, only electric vans participated in the award ceremony.

It was Volkswagen ID. Buzz Cargo, which could boast of the honourable title. The Volkswagen ID. Buzz Cargo can travel up to 415 kilometres on a single charge. It can load 627kg and tow up to 1,000kg.


The other finalists were:
- Ford e-Transit
- Iveco Daily
- Nissan Townstar
- Toyota ProAce City Verso Van
